The parable of the mustard seed (Matthew 13:31–32) shows how something small can grow into something extraordinary! Jesus explained that the tiny mustard seed grows into a large tree, offering shelter to birds. It’s a great way to teach kids that their faith, even if it feels small, has the potential to grow and make a big impact through simple acts like prayer or kindness.
One fun detail is how quickly mustard plants grow—just like faith when it’s nurtured. As the kids make their mustard seed craft, encourage them to think about how they can plant little seeds of kindness and faith in their everyday lives. Small beginnings lead to great things!
