In the story of Ruth and Boaz, we see a beautiful picture of kindness and God’s quiet care. Ruth was gathering leftover grain in a field so she and her mother-in-law Naomi would have food to eat. When Boaz, the owner of the field, arrived, he noticed Ruth and asked about her. He had heard how loyal she had been to Naomi and welcomed her warmly. Boaz made sure Ruth was safe and told his workers to leave extra grain for her to collect. This moment shows children that small acts of kindness matter. Boaz chose generosity, and Ruth showed courage and faithfulness. Through their meeting in the field, God was gently guiding events for a greater purpose. Teachers can share how God sees our hard work, values kindness, and often works through everyday moments to bless others.
