Jesus Calms the Storm Bible Craft Template
The disciples and Jesus had a big day and were worn out, so they hopped in a small boat to get away from the crowds. Jesus fell fast asleep, and then a HUGE storm whipped up! The terrified disciples woke him. With just three words, “Peace, be still,” and a whole lot of magnificent power, Jesus stopped the storm. Just like that.
Use today’s craft to show your children how, in a single second, a raging storm can turn into a still, calm sea. The same Jesus who calmed the wind and waves can bring peace to whatever they’re afraid of.
Mark 4:35-41
Materials & Equipment
- Printer
- Paper
- Colouring Tools
- Scissors
- Glue or stapler
Instructions
- Print, colour and cut out waves.
- Cut slits in sea.
- Glue or staple waves together at bottom.
- Slip waves in slits on sea from the back side.
- Your children can role play the waves disappearing but pulling the waves out and have Jesus say, “Peace. Be still.”
- Other option: instead cutting the slits, you can just attach the waves to the bottom of the seas so they can be flipped off to reveal the calm sea.
