Lucifer was once a beautiful angel created by God, with a special role in Heaven. The Bible tells us he was full of wisdom and beauty, and his job was to honour and praise God. But over time, pride began to grow in his heart. Instead of being grateful for the place God had given him, Lucifer started to want glory for himself. He wanted to be greater than God, and that choice led him to rebel.
This story helps children understand that our thoughts and attitudes matter. When we choose pride, jealousy, or selfishness, it pulls us away from God. But when we choose humility, gratitude, and obedience, we stay close to Him. The moving arms on this craft remind us of the sad change, from arms raised in praise to arms crossed in defiance, and encourage us to choose hearts that honour God each day.
