Friendship is such a lovely part of how God made us – we were never meant to go through life alone! The Bible gives us wisdom about what makes a strong and lasting friendship. It talks about showing respect, building trust, being thoughtful, offering forgiveness, and speaking with honesty. These are the little things that help friendships grow, just like flowers in a garden.
The story of David and Jonathan shows us a friendship full of love and loyalty (1 Samuel 18:1–4), and Jesus reminds us that real love means putting others first (John 15:13).
As children make their friendship bee craft, it can be a cheerful reminder of how to “bee” a good friend – buzzing around with kindness, care, and God’s love wherever they go!

Please watch the video to see the instructions. When I made this for a large group of young kids, I had pre cut the shapes and already applied the tape. It’s a little bit finicky, but the kids loved this craft!
