Baby Moses was always in God’s care. When the Egyptian Pharaoh ordered that all the Israelite baby boys be killed, God had a very special plan to keep Moses safe. His mother placed him in a woven basket and set it gently among the reeds of the river, where Pharaoh’s own daughter found him and raised him as her own.
This craft brings that well-known scene to life and reminds children that even as a tiny baby floating in a basket, Moses was never alone. God was in control then, and he watches over them in the very same way.
