When I started to sketch this scene, I had to quickly think of what the people were doing, and I realised they absolutely would not have been taking a normal stroll looking straight ahead like so many Red Sea crossing illustrations depict. I hope you enjoy the humour in this drawing as you wonder what the day would have been like.
