God moves in mysterious ways, and we simply can’t know all of them. In a world that wants an answer for everything, sometimes we just have to accept the unknown, something I’ve been thinking about lately! Imagine the conversation Elijah and Elisha had just before Elijah was taken up in the whirlwind. I’m sure it was full of questions: “Do you think this will really happen?” “I wonder when, and how?” “What will heaven be like?”
Letting children ask questions, even ones without answers, is healthy. Use this craft to show them the unknown is okay when God is in control, and that he can be trusted with every uncertainty.

Instructions
- Colour and cut-out craft.
- Fold on dashed lines.
- Glue both Elijahs and chariots together while leaving the horses unglued.
