Jesus Is Risen Bible Craft
Of all the stories, this is the greatest. God, dying the second death for us, so that we can live in paradise forever. And the motivation? Love.
Jesus died on the cross, but He did not die from the cross. Help your children understand this crucial truth: it was God forsaking Him because of our sin, turning away from Him, that killed Jesus. In that moment of complete separation from His Father, Jesus experienced spiritual death so we would never have to. He took our place. He bore our sin. He loved us that much.
This craft shows the progression – the cross, the tomb, and then the resurrection. Three scenes that tell the complete story. Jesus conquered death. He rose on the third day, victorious over the grave. “Oh death, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:55) Death no longer has power over those who believe in Jesus.
Invite your children to accept Jesus’s death in place of theirs. Help them understand that through His resurrection, they can share in His victory over the grave. This is not just a story about something that happened two thousand years ago – this is an invitation to eternal life, to paradise forever, through the love of Jesus.
This is the hope we build our lives on. This is the victory that changes everything.

- Printer
- Paper
- Colouring Tools
- Scissors
- Tape
Instructions
- Color and cut out.
- Tape inner tube together, then outer tube. Make sure the tubes are not too tight so that they can freely turn.
- Turn the scenes and have your children share the story.
