Lot and his family lived in the city of Sodom, a place filled with wickedness. But God, in His mercy, sent two angels to warn Lot that the city would be destroyed. The angels urged him to leave quickly and not look back! Lot hesitated at first, but the angels took his hand and led his family to safety. As they fled, they were told not to turn around. Sadly, Lot’s wife disobeyed and looked back and turned into a pillar of salt!
This story teaches us about trusting and obeying God, even when it’s hard. God wanted to protect Lot and his family, just as He cares for us today. It’s a reminder to listen to God’s guidance and move forward, knowing that He has good plans for us.
